Just a thought….

I’m having a day.  You know the kind of day that you literally want to punch someone in the face.  Yup that’s the kind of day.  I’m pretty good at not letting people push my buttons but sometimes, I literally have to pull myself back.

In my line of work I have to be the calm one.  As they say never let them see you sweat.  This also leads me to another thought.  Are people so full of themselves or just miserable so they want to make others be a part of their misery.  I take comfort in a thing  called karma and it’s a bitch when it comes around.  There are peace killers in this world if you let them, they will steal your joy.

I’m going to take the remainder of this lunch hour to regain a positive energy and make the remainder of my day better.

  1. Don’t punch anyone in the face girl! ;P That’s what they want you to do. Dealing with people will push you to the edge sometimes because people can be ridiculous! But never lose yourself in people…rise above and be the example. Nice blog 🙂

  2. Things like this, I wish I read before those times I allowed others to press my buttons and retaliated. I often found myself misunderstood even after I thought I proved my point. Life has shown me that sometimes we aid wars that were established to keep everyone from focusing on a bigger picture! Clichés dont help either, they tend to persuade the outcome of every situation, again blinding us of what it is exactly that we are dealing with! So I started going out of my way to discomfort misery as it does so many people and affect the relationships we have the potential to build! Sometimes that miserable person needs some extra care and attention and not to be neglected! Of course there are some people who choose misery, self pity, and would like the world to revolve around them. The most we can do is be a light, to the future Hitler’s, sexists, racists, etc… that a miserable person could possibly turn into! Dont turn your back on anyone, it is a test just for you! They need you!

    1. This is a very interesting perspective. At the end of the day we alone control how we behave. You can never take back what you’ve done. So the fact that I have an outlet to get my frustration out when I have an issue is helpful. Thank you so much for sharing.
